Overview
Zippo Claudio Mazzi Windy Girl & Zippo Car Grey Lighter
A striking and highly collectable Zippo featuring artwork by renowned airbrush artist Claudio Mazzi, combining the iconic Windy Girl with classic Zippo motoring imagery.
The detailed monochrome artwork wraps beautifully across the dark Grey finish, giving this lighter a distinctive vintage appearance. Windy Girl is one of the most recognisable figures associated with Zippo’s history, and the combination of her image with Mazzi’s artwork makes this an especially interesting piece for collectors.
Claudio Mazzi is well known among Zippo enthusiasts for his incredibly detailed artwork and his long association with collectable Zippo designs. His lighters have developed a strong following, particularly among collectors looking for unusual designs that are no longer commonly encountered through normal UK retail channels.
Very Hard to Find in the UK
This is not a Zippo you are likely to see sitting on the shelf of your average UK lighter retailer.
Examples of older and specialist Mazzi designs can be increasingly difficult to source in the UK, making this a great opportunity for collectors looking for something different from the current mainstream Zippo range.
The combination of the Windy Girl, vintage styling, dark Grey finish and Claudio Mazzi artwork gives this lighter real display appeal.
And as with many highly detailed Zippos, the photographs really don’t do this lighter justice. The contrast and fine detail of the artwork are far more impressive when the lighter is actually in your hand.
